Ready at Any Time program

The next audit date is just a date.

A 12‑month plan that keeps the whole plant ready for the audit, the corporate visit and the customer walk-through. Kelly schedules it, keeps it and bills it once a month. You approve it once.

The week before

You know how the week
before goes.

When the date lands
  1. ThursdayThe email. The audit is in three weeks. Or the CEO is coming. Or a customer wants to walk the floor.
  2. FridayCalling around for anyone who can come on short notice. Whoever says yes names the price.
  3. The weekendA crew you’ve never seen work before, cleaning what they can reach in two days.
  4. MondayFrom the floor it looks done. The auditor looks up, and the finding gets written.
On the program
  1. ThursdayThe same email. The last visit was six weeks ago. The next one is already on the calendar.
  2. FridayYou forward the schedule to whoever asked. No quotes to chase, no crew to find, no budget to go upstairs for.
  3. The weekendYours.
  4. MondayYou walk them through the building instead of getting it ready.

It lands on one person, usually a few levels below the general manager, who has to have the whole building ready at once. The program is built for that person.

Where they look

Visitors look up.
Audits look everywhere.

The places a walk-through notices first are the ones at height: the rafters, the ductwork, the tops of the machines. They are also where accumulation builds between visits, and where an inspector, an insurer or a food-safety auditor writes the finding. Kelly’s crews do that work at height, inside running plants. That is what goes on a program.

  • Rafters, roof deck and trussesThe first thing anyone sees when they look up.
  • Ductwork, conduit and light fixturesWhere accumulation builds between visits.
  • Machine tops, conveyors and linesWhat the tour walks past, and what the auditor opens.
  • Mist and dust collectorsWhat the insurer and the fire inspector ask about.
  • Walls, columns and structural steelAnd the paint on them.
Why a year

A weekend can’t cover a plant.
A year can.

A 200,000 square foot plant is not a weekend job, so a one-off booking cleans what the visitor will see and leaves the rest. On a program the work is spread across the year, a different section each visit, with the same crew and the same plan, so the whole building gets done, not just the route the tour takes.

One Midwest plant on the program runs six blowdowns a year, each one a different part of the building. By the time anyone walks in, every part has been done within the last few months.

What’s on a plan

Any Kelly service, at least four a year. The mix depends on the plant. These are the services on plans today.

  • Blowdowns Ceilings, overhead steel, ductwork and walls. Twice a year on the most common plan.
  • Machine and line cleaning Machines, conveyors and production lines. Twice a year on the most common plan.
  • Mist collector cleaning Quarterly on some plans today.
  • Facility and machine painting Walls, ceilings, structural steel and machines, scheduled with the cleaning.
  • Roof cleaning On the same calendar as everything inside.
  • Any other Kelly service Combustible dust cleaning, dry ice blasting, food-grade cleaning, pressure washing and the rest of the service list.
How it works

Plan the year once.
Kelly keeps it.

You
  • Pick the services and how often. If Kelly is new to your plant, that starts with a walk of the production floor with a Kelly specialist.
  • Approve one monthly number, once.
  • Before each visit, tell us what is running and what we can reach.
Kelly
  • Prices the plan from the services and the crew each job needs.
  • Builds the calendar and schedules every visit around production.
  • Confirms each visit with you ahead of time: the timing, what is running below, what gets shut down or protected.
  • Shows up on the dates, and works around it when production moves.
  • Puts program plants first when something comes up, emergencies included.
The terms

What you sign up for.

The terms in plain words. Only the price is set plant by plant.

Term
12 months.
Start
Any month of the year. The first monthly invoice usually goes out once the first service is done.
Services
At least four in the term, in any mix.
Price
Quoted per plant, from the services you pick and the crew size each job needs.
Billing
One invoice a month, on the same date every month. No added fees, no interest.
Changes
Add or drop services at any time during the term. The monthly amount adjusts.
Discount
None. A service costs the same in or out of the program. What changes is the cost of getting ready: no scramble, no rush price from whoever can come, no half-cleaned building before a visit, and one number you take upstairs once.
Already on the calendar

Plants on the program today.

Plants on the program today have the year’s cleaning on the calendar. Three of them:

  • A corrugated plant in central VirginiaTwo blowdowns a year and quarterly mist collector cleanings.
  • A converting plant on the East CoastQuarterly blowdowns.
  • A corrugated and converting plant in the MidwestSix blowdowns a year, each one a different part of the building.

The work gets done because it is scheduled, and it is one less thing on the plant’s plate.

Questions

Asked before the plan.

How long is the program?
12 months, with at least four services in that time. Which services, and how often, is up to you and the plant.
Is it cheaper than booking jobs one at a time?
No. Kelly charges the same for a service in or out of the program. What changes is that the cost is one monthly number you approve once, the calendar is Kelly’s job, and the plant is ready when someone walks in.
We have a janitorial contractor. Isn’t this the same thing?
No. Janitorial is the daily work at ground level: floors, restrooms, break rooms. The program is the work a janitorial crew can’t reach or isn’t equipped for: overhead and structural cleaning, machine and line cleaning, mist and dust collectors, painting. It sits alongside a janitorial contract, not in place of it.
What do we have to do before a visit?
Kelly plans each visit with you: the timing, what is running below the work, and what gets shut down or protected. Your part is the production schedule and access. The crew brings the rest.
What if production moves and the date doesn’t work?
Tell us. The calendar is Kelly’s to keep, and visits move with your production.
What if something comes up between visits?
Program plants get priority scheduling, emergencies included. Call 888-422-2623.
Can we change the plan partway through?
Yes, at any time. Add or drop services as the year goes and the monthly amount adjusts.
Can we start any time of year?
Yes. The program can start in any month, and the first monthly invoice usually goes out once the first service is done.
How do we get started?
Request a quote below or call 888-422-2623. If Kelly has worked in your plant before, we can usually build the plan without a site visit, from what we already know about the plant. If we haven’t, we will schedule a visit to walk the production floor with you and point out everything a program could cover. Either way, you get a plan and a monthly price, with the first visits set around your production.
Does it work for any industry?
Yes. It suits plants that get audited and plants that get visitors most, but it works the same way in any plant.

A specialist reviews every request, not a call center. Tell us the services you have in mind and any audit or visit dates coming up, and we will come back with a plan and one monthly number you can take upstairs.
