This is where Kelly started
The company was founded in 1985 as National Clean Ceiling, in the Philadelphia area, doing exactly one thing: cleaning the ceilings and overhead structure of manufacturing plants. The name changed to Kelly Industrial Services in 2010 to reflect everything that had been added since, but the original work is still one of the six core services and this is still the building it runs from.
Forty years in one region means the crews here have been inside the same plants across multiple ownerships, multiple plant managers and multiple generations of equipment. That is not a marketing claim, it is why a Philadelphia-based crew arrives at a corrugator in Reading or a food plant in South Jersey already knowing the building.
It is also the largest crew base of the six, which is why it carries the widest territory in the east and why it is the center that supports the others on large multi-site programs.
The industries these
crews work in most.
Kelly serves every industry from every center. These are the ones concentrated inside this territory, which is what the crews here see week to week.
Paper, corrugated and packaging
The corridor from eastern Pennsylvania through New Jersey and into Ohio carries one of the densest concentrations of corrugated converting plants in the country. Paper dust and starch on overhead steel is the single most common scope this center runs.
Food and beverage
Bakery, snack, dairy and beverage production across Pennsylvania, New York and New England, most of it under SQF, BRC or AIB audit, all of it needing overhead and structural work that the sanitation shift cannot reach.
Pharmaceutical and life sciences
The New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania corridor, where documentation and controlled-environment discipline matter as much as the cleaning itself.
Chemical and process
The Delaware River industrial corridor and the Gulf of the Northeast, where corrosion protection on structural steel and tank exteriors is continuous work.
Automotive and manufacturing
Ohio’s assembly and parts base, plus general manufacturing across the Mid-Atlantic, where oil, coolant and process residue are the recurring problem.
Every Kelly service,
staffed from Philadelphia.
The full Kelly service list, the same full-time crews and the same documentation. Nothing is handed to a local vendor because the job is a long way from headquarters.
Who turns up,
and when.
Full-time Kelly employees
Every technician who walks into your plant from this center is a Kelly employee, trained to Kelly procedures and carrying Kelly insurance. No brokered labor, no local subcontractor filling in because the drive is long.
One number, wherever you are
888-422-2623 reaches Kelly directly. There is no regional switchboard and no call center. The call routes to a specialist who will tell you which center covers your plant and what the schedule actually looks like.
Scheduled against your window
Shutdowns, sanitation shifts, changeovers and planned outages. The survey sets the scope and the crew size is built for the window you have, rather than the window we would prefer.
Multi-site programs run as one
A group with plants in several states is one program with one point of contact, not one contract per site. Centers cross territory lines for these, which is what the overlaps below are for.
One of the 14 states assigned to Philadelphia is also assigned to another center. That is deliberate, not an accident of the map. It means the nearest available crew takes the work rather than the one the territory line says owns it.

Coverage is all 48 contiguous states. If your plant is outside this territory, one of these is the one that reaches it.

Tell us about the facility.
We'll tell you straight.
A specialist reviews every request, not a call center. If it is not Kelly work, we will say so and point you in the right direction.
